The story

From one tribute night to a Bedfordshire institution

The California Ballroom in Dunstable hosted the Rolling Stones, The Supremes and the greats of soul until it closed in 1979. In 1997 Sid and Jacqui Hudson held a single memorial night for the people who danced there. The crowd kept coming back, and Cali-R has been a family affair ever since.
