ABOUT US

The Cali-R is an event which has been enjoyed by many people over the last six and a half years.

It is a big reunion of the California Ballroom which was situated at the bottom of Dunstable Downs. The California Ballroom closed it's doors,for the last time,in 1979.

I was a humble DJ there and since the closure, a part of it has always stayed in the back of my mind.

My wife, Jacqui, and I staged the first reunion in 1997 and from then on it has given pleasure to thousands of people who still come in large numbers time and time again!

We have had people from all over the world plan a trip around the Cali-R.

The Cali-R has been talked about on BBC Radio 2, BBC Three Counties Radio, Chiltern FM, Classic Gold and various other radio stations up and down the country and also prime-time Anglia Television.

It has cropped up in two national newspapers and has been featured in two music magazines.

Apart from the Cali-R, we promote other events and supply top bands and djs for your functions.
